I really enjoyed working with Stephanie and Chris. We got so lucky with the beautiful weather and gorgeous sunset. I can’t wait for their upcoming wedding and I am so happy they chose me to capture their day!
Candid Family Portraits
One of my favorite aspects of wedding photography is that it is the beginning of a new journey. I not only get to capture the engagement and the wedding, but then the family. I can tell you there is no greater joy than watching couples enter the next beautiful stage in life, parenthood. I hope to have the opportunity to have a child one day, but until then I will live vicariously through my clients. Lisa and Jay live near Amelia Island and that is where we did the shoot. They opened their hearts and home to me and our session was really precious. Thank you so much Lisa and Jay for sharing your lives with me!
St Petersburg Yacht Club Wedding images
What a beautiful reception! I have never seen the St Pete Yacht club look so warm and inviting. Cindy, yet again, went above and beyond to create this exquisite room. The lighting and florals were just beautiful!! Thank you Cindy of Stonehouse Events! It was an absolute pleasure working with you as always. There were also a few other special events that went on that evening and images will surely follow.
The Museum of Fine Arts, St Pete
This was another spectacular wedding at the Museum of Fine Arts in St Petersburg. Cindy of Stonehouse Events always does such a beautiful job and she deeply cares about her clients as do I. We always have a great day when Cindy is around. I just want to thank her for being such a pleasure to work with. Voila Cinematic were the video artists and I always love working with the Alexs:)) Niki and David are truly a special couple. It is so easy to see the love they share for one another in every way. I am so thankful to be able to witness such love and beauty. Thank you Niki and David!!

Here is a precious moment that I wanted to share. They are a few images from a wedding at the Museum of Fine Arts, St. Petersburg FL.
The Floridan wedding photography
Jen and Brett’s wedding reception was held at The Floridan, in downtown Tampa. I really wish I had more time in the gorgeous lobby!! Jen and Brett were so much fun to work with and they were up for anything. We stopped in Ybor on the way to the Floridan and got some beautiful images in the heart of Ybor. The Event Planner was Sandy Rule Events and she is always such a pleasure to work with. Everything was beautiful and her attention to detail was outstanding. I also loved working with Voila Cinematic, as always:)) I look forward to posting more images in the days to come. Thank you Jen and Brett!!!

Museum of Fine Arts, St Petersburg FL wedding photography
As promised here is another round of my favorite images from Meredith and Shaun’s wedding!! Their wedding was at the Museum of Fine Arts, in St Petersburg FL. It is definitely one of my favorite venues. I also enjoyed the challenge of shooting after sundown. Stay tuned Mere, more to come:)))
Wedding photos Nova 535 St Petersburg FL
This wedding was especially colorful and vibrant! The hot pink and black was incorporated throughout the whole day and it added just the splash of color needed! I think it was also very suiting to the couples’ personalities. Julie and Erwin were laughing the whole day. It was just how a wedding should be, beautiful, unique and most importantly a blast! I will be posting images later that will really express the joy I was lucky enough to witness throughout the entire day. The couple stayed at The Renaissance Vinoy and the ceremony and reception were held at Nova 535 in St Petersburg. Thank you Julie and Erwin!
Sunset engagement photos St Petersburg FL
I had so much fun with Kelly and Preston. They are just a joy to work with. I think it is obvious how much they love each other in all the images. We had a great session and at the end of the session, the lighting was absolutely beautiful. I chose these images to share because sometimes silhouettes can express more emotion than all the most detailed shots in the world! Thank you Kelly and Preston for sharing your love.

Impressions of Egypt
I recently came across images from a trip I took several years ago. I was fortunate enough to go with my family on a trip throughout Jordan and Egypt. I took hundreds of images of the temples, pyramids, mosques, and tombs. I got to visit two of the greatest wonders of the world and visit a world imbedded with a different culture and religion. What made such an impression me, was not the historical sites and landmarks, but rather the people that surround them. I feel these images will tell my journey the best. This is the first time I have shared these particular images. It’s not that I didn’t want to, but these seem to be the most personal. I shot a lot of them from my hip:) A world away from mine.
